2025: Strategic Focus
In 2025, GTT will continue to evolve its global Envision platform through innovation, strategic partnerships and market expansion, empowering enterprises to manage increasingly complex networks and defend against emerging threats. GTT Envision comprises EnvisionCORE, the company’s global internet backbone and distributed compute platform with sites embedded across six continents, as well as EnvisionEDGE, which enables customers to deploy multiple virtualized functions — whenever and however they want — directly to their premises. This is managed, customized and controlled through a single digital gateway, EnvisionDX. GTT offers a comprehensive suite of Managed and Professional Services from experienced and certified professionals to support and advise customers throughout the design, build and running of their services.

To drive continuous innovation, GTT is enhancing its strategic alliances. The company will enhance its Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solution along with its industry-leading technology partners. With the ever-expanding usage of 5G fixed wireless access and Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite connections, GTT will focus on further integrating these technologies into its service offerings to provide seamless, high-capacity services to customers seeking primary wireless access or backup solutions. - Expanding Globally into Key Regions and CSPs with EnvisionCORE
In response to growing demand for its services and expertise in delivering secure cloud connectivity to Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, GTT will continue to increase its presence in key locations in these regions. The company will also grow its global partnerships with leading CSPs for reliable and direct connectivity and, for GTT customers of select CSP partners, provide automated ordering and provisioning as well as dynamic bandwidth adjustments. - Advancing Networking and Security as a Service Solutions with EnvisionDX
In 2025, GTT will enhance EnvisionDX to deliver an unparalleled, vendor-agnostic digital experience, including proprietary artificial intelligence development specific to networking and security services. Customers will be able to quote, order and manage their networking and security services on demand, across the breadth of their cloud and edge-based infrastructures. EnvisionDX will also provide advanced observability for actionable intelligence and interact with multiple best-of-breed vendors using a common portal and API experience. GTT will continue to strengthen its threat analysis capabilities, enabling it to provide a proactive and offensive security approach.

Business Highlights
- Serves over 7,000 customers with locations across 170+ countries — including household names representing 39% of the Fortune Global 500 — and fostered new and expanded relationships with Forte Opening Solutions, Kiabi, Siegwerk and others.
- Maintains high labor retention in key roles and has continued to invest in its executive team with the appointments of Tim Medina as CFO, Mike Little as the company’s first CCO and Sara Seegers as Senior Vice President and Channel Partner Chief for its indirect channels business in the Americas.
- Published its third annual report on its environmental, social and governance activities, and strengthened its position with the creation of the new role of Vice President of Risk and Compliance, held by Gerald Johnson.
Platform Expansion and Network Performance
- Launched GTT Envision, enabling secure connectivity and integration across networks and cloud services.
- Introduced virtualized Dedicated Internet Access and MPLS, eliminating costly hardware dependencies and reducing installation times associated with traditional networking.
- Deepened its software-defined networking capability by deploying three new Network Function Virtualization (NFV) nodes in the U.S., taking its total number to 25 NFV nodes worldwide.
Global Network Expansion and Service Reach
- Advanced from the seventh-largest to the fourth-largest global backbone, as recognized by CAIDA.
- Implemented significant upgrades to its network to support 400G, with scalability to 800G.
- Enhanced its Cloud Connect solutions with private direct connections to additional industry-leading CSPs.
Network Security
- Expanded its managed Secure Connect portfolio with a single-vendor SASE offering powered by Fortinet technology.
- Mitigated over 1 million cyberattacks monthly with security enhancements, including upgrading its 10 global Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) scrubbing centers.
- Retained over 75% of IP traffic securely on its network.
